Trust & Safety
Every campaign on Zadqa is manually verified before donations open. Here’s exactly how we do it.
How we verify every campaign
Application received
You submit your campaign form with CNIC, medical/school/institutional documents, and personal details.
Document review
Our verification team checks every document for authenticity — including CNIC validity and consistency with supporting materials.
Video call
We call the applicant (and beneficiary where relevant) by video to confirm the situation, ask questions, and detect any inconsistencies.
Institution confirmation
For medical or educational campaigns, we call the hospital, school, or organisation directly to verify the invoice or letter.
Your payment is safe
Your card or bank details are never stored on Zadqa’s servers. Every donation gets a unique reference (ZDQ-XXXXXXXX) for your records, and funds go directly to the verified beneficiary’s account.
- 256-bit TLS encryption across the site
- Your banking details are never stored on our servers
- Funds are disbursed only to verified beneficiary accounts
- All donations tracked with a unique reference number (ZDQ-XXXXXXXX)
Refund policy
Fraud or failed verification
If a campaign is removed after it is found to be fraudulent, all donors are refunded in full within 7 business days.
Undisbursed funds
If a campaign closes and we are unable to disburse funds (e.g., IBAN verification fails), donations are held for 30 days while we resolve the issue. If unresolved, donors are refunded.
General donations
Once a donation has been disbursed to the fundraiser, it cannot be refunded. We encourage donors to read campaign details carefully before contributing.
Spotted something suspicious?
